Filem Dukun diterbitkan oleh Astro Shaw Sdn Bhd telah menelan belanja sehingga RM2.8 juta.
Tagline filem ini: ”Aku takkan mati…” menjadi kata-kata keramat kerana sebenarnya ‘watak’ sebenarnya mati juga akhirnya.
Filem Dukun mengundang kontroversi kerana filem ini seakan mengimbas kembali sejarah hitam pembunuhan Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Batu Talam Datuk Mazlan Idris yang berlaku sekitar tahun 1993.
Filem ini dikatakan memaparkan bagaimana kejamnya Mona Fandey, suaminya Mohd Affandi Abdul Rahman dan pembantu Juraimi Husin melakukan pembunuhan dengan memotong badan mangsa kepada 18 bahagian, selepas beliau dibunuh sewaktu upacara perbomohan.
Ketiga-tiga mereka yang terlibat telah dihukum gantung sampai mati pada 2 November 2001.
Di dalam filem ini, penonton akan melihat lakonan mantap Umie Aida diberi peranan penting di dalam Dukun yang memegang watak utama yang bernama Diana Dahlan.
Filem Dukun adalah hasil garapan Huzir Sulaiman dan diarahkan oleh Dain Iskandar Said.

hmm... sedar x sedar dah 3minggu aku start keje baru..
aku mengambil risiko yang tinggi gak nk handle job ni.. hmm mmg klau nk ikutkan ati ni syg nk tgalkan ofis lame..tp mngenangkan nasib yang cm xkeruan dan x tentu arah tue..bek aku cabut.hehehe.. emm tp xsemua ape yg kita fikirkan betul tu akan terjadi sebenarnya..
sebaliknya, aku skang tpaksa handle 1 project banglo yang aku sendiri terkejut pemiliknya ialah dato k n dato ct..sume main drwing n detail drawing sume dlm tangan aku skang ni..YA ALLAH semoga aku dpt incharge project ni dengan lancar...
